Why "Hidden Tiger / 隱虎"?

When we're spending hours sifting through clothing racks, we imagine a tiger hiding in the grass ready to jump out at us. Each piece of clothing is a blade of grass and the tiger is THAT piece that GRABS us. It has an interesting design / texture / graphic that we know someone will be stoked to own. Thus, the hidden tiger!

It's a homage to our Chinese heritage and let's be real, tigers are badass.

All sales are final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, cancellations, or exchanges.

We do our best to accurately represent the condition and colour of all items through images, videos, and descriptions.Ā However all of these items are pre-owned and we expect there to be some wear and tear. In fact, we celebrate the personality it brings the piece!

Shipping

We offer $5 local delivery for orders under $75 and free for orders $75+ around Victoria, BC that arrive within one week of purchase. Orders outside of our flat rate delivery zone are subject to shipping rates from the carrier.

Sizing

What does "our size" mean?

Our products are pre-owned and often times no longer fit their original owner for various reasons including due to shrinking or stretching. We measure each piece so we understand the true size of it as the original size may not be accurate anymore. We mark that as "our size".

This is great news for you though, because that means the piece that doesn't fit the original owner anymore may fit you perfectly!

How do we determine the size?

We use the item's measurements as a guide however we also take the fit into consideration. For example, piece that has a more retro style with big sleeves, meant to have an oversized look, may have "large" measurements on paper but actually fits more like a small.

We recommend finding a piece you have with similar measurments to compare with.

How do I measure the fit?

To measure, we suggest using soft measuring tape. Otherwise try using some string and then measuring it against stiff measuring tape.

Sleeve length
  1. Place the end of the tape (or string) at the back of your neck.
  2. Run the tape alongĀ the top of your shoulder and down your arm.
  3. Check where the piece will approximately end based on it's value.
Body length
  1. Place the end of the tapeĀ (or string) at the middle of your collar bone on the top side.
  2. Run the tape down along the front of your body.
  3. Check where the piece will approximately end based on it's value.
Chest width (arm pit to arm pit)
  1. Place the tapeĀ (or string) just below your armpit on the size.
  2. Run the tape across your chest to the same spot under your other arm.
  3. Check where the piece will approximately end based on it's value.
  4. Alternatively, double the piece's value to get the approximate circumference of it's body and wrap that around your chestĀ just below each armpit.
